Join us in welcoming Janis Staggs for a lively discussion of turn of the twentieth century German and Austrian jewelry, otherwise known as Jugendstil.  Ms. Staggs curated the first solo exhibition devoted to Wiener Werkstätte jewelry held at the Neue Galerie New York in 2008, authored the accompanying publication, and was a contributing essayist to the Driehaus Museum’s exhibition companion book Maker & Muse.  Ms. Staggs has held various positions at the Cooper-Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
