Downton Abbey Series Finale Party

Sunday, March 6, 2016
Doors open and activities begin at 6:00 p.m. Show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Join us as we bid a final farewell to Downton Abbey, PBS’s most-watched television series. This exclusive Driehaus Museum Member-only event will be a night to remember. Over the seasons there has been much happiness and heartbreak, amidst dramatic social and political changes.  The evening will begin with a special reception catered by Parties & Special Events by Lettuce Entertain You® and feature sweet and savory treats, tea, and Prosecco. We invite you to dress in period appropriate attire or come as you are. Before the final show airs, there will be festivities and a chance to reminisce and share your favorite memories from the show.

At 7:30 p.m. sharp, the final episode will be aired on the big screen and tissues will be distributed to wipe tears of joy and sorrow as we watch our beloved Downton Abbey characters take their final bow.

Complimentary tickets are available to current Driehaus Museum Members with the number of tickets based on your membership level. 250 tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To reserve your complimentary tickets please call 312-482-8933, ext. 21 daily 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Due to the large number of attendees at the event, the special exhibition Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times will not be available for viewing.
