The Driehaus Museum welcomes the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras back to our Third Wednesday series for an evening of chamber music. The program will feature performances by CYSO musicians in brass and string ensembles, highlighting the range and talent of these exceptional young artists.

This event is free and open to the public, with donations gratefully accepted in support of the Museum’s ongoing cultural programming and community days.

About Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras (CYSO)

With a rich history dating to 1946, the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras (CYSO) has grown from one orchestra to a comprehensive music training program for over 600 students ages 6-18 participating in symphony orchestras, string orchestras, jazz orchestra, and steelpan orchestras, as well as chamber music and composition programs and invests in community with its in-school CYSO@CPS programming and free concerts that reach more than 10,000 young people annually. CYSO is committed to educating, encouraging, and empowering each young musician so that they may pursue personal excellence both on and off the stage.
