Santa Makes Special Appearance Following Magic Performances December 15, 16

WHAT: Following Magic at the Mansion, Sean Masterson’s sleight-of-hand performance at 3 p.m. on December 15 and 16, guests of all ages will enjoy a magical visit from Santa Claus from 4 to 5 p.m.

WHO: Sean Masterson, an actor and master magician, has been entertaining Chicago audiences with his theatrical magic shows for 25 years. His performances include Magic Matinee in 2006 and 2008 at the Music Box Theatre and Vaudeville Magic at the Morse Theatre in 2009.

Santa Claus is from the North Pole but travels frequently to the Chicago area, and is known for bringing delight to children everywhere during the holiday season.

WHEN: Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16, 2012.

WHERE: The Richard H. Driehaus Museum, 40 East Erie Street, Chicago, Illinois, 60611.

TICKETS: $12 Adults, $8 Youth (8–12 years). Purchase at or by calling 312-482-8933, ext. 21. Ticket includes general admission to the Museum and visit with Claus. Space is limited, advance ticket purchase is highly recommended.

ABOUT: The Driehaus Museum preserves and interprets the Gilded Age home of Chicago entrepreneur Samuel M. Nickerson in order to promote the understanding of historic architecture and design, while its collection of period furnishings, paintings, and decorative objects fosters appreciation of the fine and decorative arts in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Driehaus Museum fulfills this mission through a range of engaging and immersive public programs.
