Much of the original furniture survived with the Library, including the magnificent ebonized library table with matching side chair, attributed to the famed New York firm of Herter Brothers. The armchair and the fitted settee nestled within the bookcases of the east wall are also original. Curiously, while the furniture matches the ebonized paneling of the room, it actually comprises three different sets; the side chair is en suite with the library table, yet the sofa bears no resemblance to the other two pieces, and the armchair is different yet again. The Library furniture has been upholstered with Verona Passe Partout by Scalamandré.
