Originating in gypsy caravans on the edges of Paris in the 1930s, this distinctively energetic style of music called Gypsy Jazz (known in France as Jazz Manouche) was created by the legendary Django Reinhardt. This hot gypsy swing music incorporates three-finger chord structures, rippling melodies, and frenetic rhythms that still thrive in Paris’ modern-day jazz cafes and around the world.

Your ticket includes drinks and light hors d’oeuvres. Guests must be 21 years of age or older. Doors open at 6 and 8 p.m.

Ticket Refund Policy:  Tickets are fully refundable up to 10 days prior to the event, 50% refundable up to 72 hours prior to the event and non-refundable less than 72 hours prior to the event.

Please note that in exchange for your reservation and/or ticket, you have authorized the Driehaus Museum to photograph, record, film, video tape, or otherwise use your likeness, performance, image, and/or voice for use in general and/or program-related Driehaus Museum promotional materials.
