From February 11 through May 6, 2016, the Driehaus Museum will be offering the opportunity to enjoy a traditional English tea. Escape and relax in the inviting garden-inspired setting in The Murphy Auditorium adjacent to the Museum. Your tea includes seasonal scones and cake breads, tea sandwiches and a variety sweets catered exclusively by Parties & Special Events by Lettuce Entertain You® as well as a specialty tea locally sourced from Chicago’s own Rare Tea Cellars.

Three catered tea seatings will be offered each day, Tuesday through Sunday, at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. by advance reservation only. The teas will last approximately one hour. Tea tickets do not include admission to the view the exhibition. Given the anticipated popularity of these special teas, advance reservation is required. Guests having tea are welcome to attempt to obtain a walk-in ticket for the Dressing Downton before or after their tea, but admission cannot be guaranteed.

Ticket prices are $55 for adults and $30 for youth 12 and under.

To accommodate the high demand for tea tickets and the tea parlor setting, please note that tables may be shared with other guests.

Menu options are available for children 12 years and under, as well as gluten free and vegetarian options.

Refunds and exchanges are permitted up to 48 hours in advance of your tea time time by calling 312-482-8933, ext. 21 or in person at the Driehaus Museum. Tea tickets are non-refundable within 48 hours of the tea time.

Private Tour & Tea Packages
