With a Wink and a Nod: Cartoonists of the Gilded Age offers a “cartoonists-eye-view” of America, as seen through the drawings made for the influential humor magazine Puck in the late 19th and early 20th century.

The hardcover catalogue, available in the Museum Store in June 2016 for $19.95, features 64 illustrated pages filled with the bold cartoons and original drawings featured in the exhibition. The book offers a unique glimpse into these humor artists’ creative process as well as the major themes explored inside the magazine’s pages during its four decades of publication.
